Formed in 2006, Triaxis started, as most great bands do, as a predominantly covers band with some original work in progress. With the addition of Krissie Kirby on vocals in 2007 and Owen Crawford on Bass in 2008, Triaxis began performing in earnest and penning their debut release. Triaxis self-released their first full-length album Key To The Kingdom in 2009 to critical acclaim, including plaudits from Metal Hammer, Terrorizer, and Zero Tolerance, as well as coverage and praise from many leading music websites. They also made numerous radio appearances, including airplay on Bruce Dickinson's BBC Radio 6 Rock Show.
2010 saw a change to the now established line up, with Gav Owen leaving and Glyn Williams stepping into lead guitar duties.
After headline grabbing sets at Bloodstock Open Air in 2009, a UK wide tour with a new Canadian band called Kobra and the Lotus in 2010 and Hammerfest in 2011, the band signed to Rocksector Records in 2012 to release their second album, Rage and Retribution (recorded at Foel Studios and engineered by James Stephenson of Stymphalian Productions). Once again the record gained critical acclaim, culminating in another appearance at Bloodstock Open Air (2012) performing a fully acoustic set. Triaxis continued to tour extensively throughout the UK and Mainland Europe supporting the likes of Queensryche, Blaze Bayley, Raven, GirlSchool, Tygers of Pan Tang and more.
Their first promotional video, for the single 'Black Trinity' taken from Rage and Retribution (Dir: Adam Stevenson, ASAV), was released in 2013 and was also nominated for a Pure Rawk Award, alongside a growing number of award nominations for the band members themselves.
In 2014, Owen Crawford stepped down from bass duties and the hunt began for his replacement. Enter an up and coming bassist called Becky Baldwin. With the addition of Becky, Triaxis continued writing and in 2015, Triaxis released their third studio album Zero Hour (produced by Glyn Williams, James Stephenson of Stympahlian Productions and Scott Atkins of Grindstone Studios). The album was funded through a PledgeMusic campaign, achieving 100% of its target within nine hours via unprecedented support from Triaxis fans. Triaxis also returned to Bloodstock Open Air Festival and played to packed out Sophie Lancaster stage. Towards the latter end of the year the videos for Liberty and the moving Lest we Forget were released.

In early 2016 CJ and Giles, original members and co-founders, announced their departure from Triaxis and the hunt was on once again to find new members. Enter, Matt Chambers on rhythym guitar and Gareth Artlett on drums. Continuing to tour the UK and rack up the milage, Triaxis carried on gigging through 2016. In December of that year, Krissie announced her departure and it was time for a new voice to take over the vocal dutie s
In 2017, Angel WolfBlack was invited to join the Triaxis family with a headline grabbing set at Power Metal Quest Fest. During that year, Glyn announced his departure to join the power metal masters PowerQuest and, as such, the decision was made to bring the Triaxis journey to a close.
In December 2017, Triaxis joined together for a special Christmas gig in Cardiff to bid the fans one final farewell with all then current members, and past members CJ, Giles, Owen and Krissie. Hammerfest 10 in 2018 was the final gig for Triaxis with Matt Jones (Dakesis) on lead guitar duties.
As a testament to the members and music, Triaxis still has many fans across the world and their music continues to be listened to on all platforms.
