Fronted by vocal powerhouse Krissie Kirby (Triaxis), Rites to Ruin are a five piece heavy metal band based in South Wales and the South West of England. Adding Matt Chambers (Triaxis, In the Absence of Light) & Lee Cartner on guitar, Paul Boschen (Burn thy Enemy) on bass and Tom Ross on drums, Rites to Ruin released their Debut EP in September 2021 after having to put a hold on recording due to the 2020 pandemic.
During 2021, and the further lockdowns that ensued, Rites to Ruin were able to utilise the digital world and decided to stream their very first show via CapsaArx Studios, in Birmingham, to glowing reviews.
During 2023 and 2024, Rites to Ruin gained a spot in the Final of the Bloodstock Festival grass roots initiative, Metal 2 the Masses. Gaining a rapid following in the UK and further afield, Rites to Ruin are in the midst of recording their debut full-length album, 'Daughter of Hatred' - on general release June 30th 2025. Pre-oreders for the album are currently open until April 30th.
